Opportunities for Faith Formation:
We have an Adul Sunday School class most Sundays from 9:45-10:15 a.m. (holidays excluded)
Throughout the program year there is a Women’s Bible Study that meets on Wednesdays at 2 p.m.. This is from September-May
During the year there are Bible Studies that generally meet in the evening. Most will last 4-6 weeks.
Opportunities to Gather As a Community:
The 4th Sunday of the month during the school year, we host a Youth Fundraiser Breakfast. Families sign up to fix the meals. Donations are accepted and go to our Youth Fund.
Throughout the year, we have potlucks following the worship service.
Lunch Bunch meets at a local restaurant the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m..
Once a quarter, a Seasoned Seniors event is held. It includes a meal and a program. Watch the calendar for dates for these gatherings.
Opportunities for Outreach:
Each quarter we host an event for the community. We have done such things as Trunk-or-Treat, Christmas Party, Easter Egg Hunt/Crafts, and a community pool day in Waldo. Look for announcements about these under the “featured events” tab.
Opportunities for Mission (helping people):
When a month has a fifth Sunday we do an abbreviated worship service and then often do smaller projects that help people in the Marion/Waldo area and across the United States. There are usually multiple projects each time to include everyone that wants to participate.
We have taken mission trips.
We also partner with Leapin’ Outreach and Aspire Ministries with projects they need assistance completing.
