Run for Luke

Join us as we Race to End Duchenne on July 15th in Downtown Waldo.  This event directly benefits Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy in honor of Luke Fox from Waldo, OH.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a genetic disorder characterized by the progressive loss of muscle. It is a multi-systemic condition, affecting many parts of the body, which results in the deterioration of the skeletal, heart, and lung muscles.

Each registration comes with a PPMD t-shirt and medal if you register by July 4th.

Welcome

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvsdtJQ6rWo

You might think that you could not be part of a church because of your past or that the walls would fall in because it has been so long since you have been in worship. Our denomination, the United Church of Christ has a saying, “No matter who you are or where you are along life’s journey, you are welcome here!” We welcome you to visit with us some Sunday or for one of our quarterly community events. Information will be listed under the “featured events” tab. You can also check our worship service out through our livestream on Facebook (Peace UCC) or check out our website later in the week for a recording.

Peace Community United Church of Christ is a community church. The current church has been part of the Marion/Waldo area for 47 years! Before that, there were two predecessor congregations, St. John’s Reformed and St Joseph’s Reformed churches. We have a mix of all ages, including young children, teens, young adults, middle aged folks and seniors. While there are programs that represent a particular segment of the congregation, we also strive to build relationships across the ages.
